Taking time out for yourself to self care, learn how to manage difficult emotions, heal trauma and emotional wounds, while knowing how to listen to all parts of your being, means you'll have more to offer your loved ones, and be able to teach them how to do the same.

I think that the same thing happens during

the therapeutic process of self-exploration

by separating and acknowledging that which is not us, we can see with clarity the real picture of who we are.  


Our pain, beliefs, expectations, labels, accomplishments, mistakes, and our thoughts, – they aren’t necessarily part of our deeper self and if we recognise the difference we can begin to feel the difference.

A typical day on Retreat

You arrive early afternoon and we have our first session.  


Every morning we have a session together, it might be a counselling session, a teaching session, a coaching session - it depends on what you are needing and wanting. 


The rest of the time is yours to spend however you wish to.  Reading, Writing, Relaxing, Meditating, Daydreaming, Reflecting.  During our sessions we can create writing exercises for you to do if you wish to do more work around any issues or self discovery.

 

The retreat has many books, therapeutic activities, and ways to pamper yourself (massagers, foot spa, yoga mat, shaki mat).  There is a tv with chrome cast and you will have access to Netflix, Disney + and other streaming services (because sometimes it is good to escape into another world for a while).


We have a beautiful meadow with large Oak trees for you to roam around.  If you would like more of a hike, then Ashley Gorge is just up the road.


On the morning you leave, we have our last session to ensure you have a plan which will support you when you return to your normal life.

    Accommodation

    The accommodation is completely private and is surrounded by nature.  We only book one person at a time so you will be the only person on retreat and using the space.  The retreat it is separate from our house, but we are very close by - so you can feel safe and secure.

    Includes a therapy session everyday - 3 Sessions in total.

    Your own soothing scent inhaler which you get to create.

    3 Night/4 Day Retreats

    $1,250

    Includes a therapy session everyday - 4 Sessions in total.

    Soothing scent inhaler.

    4 Night/5 Day Retreats

    $1,550

    Includes a therapy session everyday - 5 Sessions in total.

    Soothing scent inhaler.

    Please Note: Additional Sessions are available before, during and after your retreat for $125 per hour.

    An option if you can't stay the night but still want some intensive therapy and place to retreat for a while.  Includes at least two hours of therapy and creating your own soothing scent inhaler.

    What's not included:

    Food and transport to/from the retreat is NOT included (if you need help with transport from the airport please let us know).


    The kitchen contains a fridge, microwave, airfryer, induction cooker (portable element), mini oven, jug, toaster, toastie machine.  Basic kitchen staples are provided (salt, pepper, butter, cooking oil, tea/coffee).  There are multiple food options in Oxford (including cafes, restaurants, a diner, a bakery, takeaways and a supermarket).

    OUR retreats are not for everyone

    it is not for you if you:

    • can't climb stairs (sorry, the retreat is not suitable for those with mobility issues).
    • have a substance abuse problem.
    • have a mental illness or mental health diagnosis (excluding depression or anxiety).
    • are suicidal or at serious risk. (Please seek help from another mental health professional, your doctor or a hotline like 1797, 0800 543 354 or 0508 828 865 or 111 if you are in immediate danger).


    Please note: we are a women's only retreat (non-binary and transgender souls welcome).

    Prior to confirming your retreat, we will email you to arrange a time for a phone call/online meeting to answer any questions and get a few details so we customise your retreat and experience.
